Web Design
In web design we focus on creating webpage's utilizing simple tools and basic HTML. The students will eventually create their own website, using more advanced HTML coupled with CSS. The focus is on fundamental understanding of the process for creating a website, with minor reviews on aesthetics and page ranking.
8th CK Technology
This is a new class this year which all 8th graders will be required to take. It involves reviewing concepts from their previous 6th grade Information Literacy course. We review issues such as online research skills, identity theft, computer security, and overall basic skills necessary for students success in their transition to High School.
Computer Applications
Students will explore a variety of computer software and hardware in order to enhance their overall understanding of technology and it's use in the business environment. Focus will be on project completion and overall mastery of the subject matter.
